Trauma-Informed Somatic Coaching is a 60-minute, non-hands-on session designed to support nervous system literacy, embodied awareness, and integration of bodywork. Instead of processing traumatic events in detail, I help you understand how your body and nervous system respond to stress, safety, and connection.
We might track sensations, explore patterns of activation and shutdown, or look at how your body signals "too much" or "enough" in daily life. This style of coaching can complement Somatic Structural Therapy Cottonwood AZ sessions or other fascia-led therapy for the nervous system by giving you language and practices to notice what changes between appointments. I may draw from Somatic Awareness Enhancement Coaching tools to support gentle experiments with pacing, boundaries, rest, and movement that feel realistic for you.
Many clients use this work to integrate experiences from trauma-informed fascia bodywork in Cottonwood, 90-minute fascia-focused therapy in AZ, or bodywork for structural ease near Sedona. Together, we map your patterns in a way that respects your history without requiring you to retell it. This service is educational and supportive, not psychotherapy, and it does not replace licensed mental health care. It can, however, sit alongside therapy or medical treatment as a body-centered way to understand yourself with more clarity and kindness.
