Somatic Structural Therapy Session

Somatic Structural Therapy Session

Duration:
1 hour 30 minutes
My Somatic Structural Therapy Session is a 90-minute trauma-informed bodywork session that focuses on both nervous system regulation and structural ease. Instead of forcing muscles or pushing through dense tissue, I use fascia-led manual therapy - following the subtle directions your body gives through tension, softening, temperature shifts, and breath.

The work often includes gentle fascial unwinding, craniosacral holds, and biodynamic structural support. These non-force techniques can invite long-held protective patterns to reorganize at a pace your nervous system can safely integrate. At times the contact may feel almost still, with very light pressure; at other times, you might notice slow, spiraling movements as the fascia unwinds and finds a new orientation.

Sessions are collaborative. I check in regularly, adjust positioning, and welcome your feedback about comfort, emotional tone, and intensity. You are always free to pause, shift focus, or stop. This approach may be a good fit if you have found deep tissue work too intense, if you are navigating trauma or chronic stress, or if you are seeking a more nuanced way to support alignment, ease of movement, and a calmer internal baseline through the interconnected systems of fascia and the nervous system.
